Five members of the Wayne State University team will participate in the 2006 NCAA Championships in Houston, including junior foilist Lindsey Howard. Howard will make her first appearance at the NCAA Championships. She placed sixth at the Midwest Regional and compiled a 46-19 record in dual meets, and placed first at the Michigan Open and sixth at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championship.
